Around and around to end where I begin
The long way around is where I have been
On the morning after my birthday before
Going around again knowing what for
Having come around again here I am in
The morning becoming the afternoon
Becoming the evening with night coming soon
To be the then again of now again
Becoming the morning I dream about then
Around and around everything turning
But I have been too and I have been learning
I found out who I am and what to do
About it by what I found along the way
Around the sun the long way to this day
So having slept on it I get up and go
On now knowing how I am going to
For promises kept and for dreams coming true
For the rest or the best for all I know
Around and around but going even so
For what goes around but comes around too
