This Opportunity The more I am grateful for What comes to me the more Comes to be for me somehow More grateful than before I who see more gratefully When I remember how Then was not as good as now Now I appreciate The fragility of my Position vis a vis What may be destiny or The anyway of fate Or whatever it may be For now and not for then For the ever after of A life to give for love I will live until I die Grateful for having been And for having been given This opportunity Steven Curtis Lance Photo: Mom and me at Disneyland on opening day
