That Awkward Age I almost forget About any regret Or almost any One out of so many But most I forgot Some hidden I did not Or not all the way Thought gotten rid of they Remember me more Than I forgot before Getting old I get To let go and forget Let them know today I plead insanity Dementia maybe As I get over it Whatever it was Life will do what it does Going on going Into the unknowing I forget and yet Love still remembers me At that awkward age I get to turn the page Into poetry Steven Curtis Lance
