September Today I remember The calendar says September Fall was so far away But not too far to fall today Reminded by the wind Behind me here at summer's end Seasons have their reasons Arranging a change of seasons I have my reasons too Changes of seasons I went through And what they meant to me They were strange but they had to be The wind that brings in fall Sings about things to understand Both wonderful and strange The reasons why the seasons change Ending to begin and Transcending after all Steven Curtis Lance
