The reverse of dogma is "am god"
The universe knows and it shows
Through a sense of humor oddly broad
To get the hard way heaven knows
Sometimes when it rhymes with the times of
Our lives down here looking for love
From up above us but how it goes
When no one is supposed to oppose
How everyone agrees to be
Ending up with more thorns than rose
When the mind is supposed to close
Turning reality inside out
I spent a lifetime learning about
Went about earning a degree
Slogging through that problematic fog
To be dogmatic more or less
But lost my mind when I found my soul
Was worth all it cost to be free
Dogma always makes me nervous
I want to be transcendentally
Not doing dogs this disservice
My own two dogs universally
Know the reverse of god is "dog"
I am odd but would rather be god
Have god within or be without
Than to waylay other people to
Believe the same way as I do
Leaving that up to your soul and you
