Through the Hi-Desert hideaway
Unscrewed a dead tree from the ground
Assailing everything with sand
Fall leaves heaving sticks through the sky
Matter enough to worry through
Shaking the house like an earthquake
For three old animals like us
Dug in against the wind again
That went on and on but it went
I liked the howling sound
It made I thought impressively
Swirling around and round
Marisol and Bowser and me
Might after all be blown away
It snow Thanksgiving like they say
As just the thing that you must do
But I hope now I can trust you
I hope my wish comes true
And trust you know next time bring snow
