All We Want for Christmas Never mind the holly Not for us the fuss Harder to be jolly For the least of us Turns out we learn to see In the dark somehow The returning folly Of things bought and sold Seeing all the getting From the outside in Being the forgetting Of what might have been When the story is told Of kings bringing myrrh And frankincense and gold If they ever were As the epitome Of the paradigm But their epiphany Was wiser that time Our minds are not right but Are our hearts wrong to Regret through the night what The right-minded do Or not? But they forgot So here we are now Frozen in December Mad and poor and old At the feast remember Those out in the cold All we want for Christmas Is that you see us Steven Curtis Lance

In the Southwest we always have Christmas cactus and mistletoe to keep us young and sane. The best presents in life are free.
