Let the Future In Here comes my opportunity To see 2020 Despite myopia at last Nightly I saw plenty Of hopelessness along the way Gone wrong this long year past Enough dystopia for now But this stuff toughened me To hope for hope on New Year's Day Having turned 65 The night before from less to more Open to hope again My new old age a new page or A coupon if not free For senior discount anyway Surviving to arrive In 2020 to begin The after of before Returning for my turn somehow Not to be turned away Hoping for something to hope for Whatever comes to say Here comes my opportunity Open to what will be Closing the door on what has been To let the future in Steven Curtis Lance

You certainly are embarking on a new deal� Particularly, Medicare eventually, Social Security. Leaving behind middle-age and embarking on the age of wisdom. Use it well.
