Pigeon Organized religion Was too organized to fit Me organically To be to my benefit I felt like a pigeon As they organized for me To get sheepish and keep My mouth shut about my doubt Keep secrets dark and deep They said to forget about But I remember now What I vowed not to forget I got it and got out But would not get over it Out here better off without Their organization Looking back I can see how This realization Saved my sheepish soul to be A pigeon now no more Having flown free I can see What God gave pigeons wings for Steven Curtis Lance
