Lessons are repeated until they are learned
You get to be you by what you get through
What you learn in May determines December
What you learn the hard way you remember
Both the good and bad you do return to you
Forgive and forget or live to regret
Remember this is it and get on with it
But never give up whatever you do
And the love you give will be the love you get
If you remember love will not forget
You then in December when you have come true
Remember when you get there how you got
Through when you thought you were alone but were not
The love you gave will be the love returned
By not giving up but living up to you
You got to be you by what you got through
And by what you learned you got the love you earned
The satisfaction of your lessons learned
