Might already know
So you might not need this

But I told you so
A dream or maybe not
It was yesterday
To you today to me

This is what I got
One or the other day
Me then to you now

Time flows another way
Rhymed by history

As on "the greatest show
On earth" at the end
The showman falls into
Fateful mystery

When he goes or we go
Farce or tragedy

At last justice past due
On must-see TV
No hero fake Nero
Is taken away

Though the late great ego
Must go we transcend

Though now is then to you
We are anyway
Now and then who know how
It goes and I knew

So this is how I say
Thank you whenever
You are who see it through

Maybe a dream but
Then again maybe not
By now or never
You know now like I do
