Storms Thunderhead of emotions Swept through my mind Like the waves of distant oceans Coming only to malign. Looming dangerous and dark From overhead they came Washing over me in one big arch Crashing down to mangle and maim. Eyes pleading not to hit Again the blows rained down Why, oh why doesn�t he quit? I feel as though I might drown. To die would be a blessing My soul could be at peace To escape the feelings I�m suppressing If only I could find some release. Dee � 2002/7/16
