Hidden My shades pulled tight From darken rooms I hide from the light Waiting for night to fall Going from window to window Watching shadows grow tall Like a blue velvet dream Darkness covers me Feeling safe and unseen The moon and stars are my guide Pulling me quietly Just as the oceans tide This shroud of blackness Conceals me well Covering wounds of sadness.
