This is the day the Lord has made, let us Rejoice and be glad in it.

Today I awoke to your morning Glory

So glad you came to hear my story

Cause No one but you understands my needs

No one but you hears by pleas

I call on you because you care

I talk to you cause you’re always there

In the wee hours of the night or day

I called on you to hear me Pray

Sometimes I complain

Sometimes I cry

Sometimes I tell you,

to let me die

Sometimes I struggle

To get the words out

But through it all,

I have reason to shout

Sometimes I wonder if you hear me at all

But throughout that day,

I never fall

Sometimes I say things only you can solve

Sometimes I’m glad no one else is involved

Sometimes I say,

Life’s not fair

Sometimes as I talk,

Peace shows up there

But Today as I awoke to your morning Glory

Grace and Mercy came to hear my story

And the comforter came to lend an ear

And my soul was wiped from all its fear

Cause today I felt so good inside

My true feelings of trust I could not hide

For I felt that though you were not near

You sent replacements that were glad to hear

Cause deep down I know you heard my prayer

Cause you promised you’d always be there

As I finished my prayer and got ready for the day

The Sun rose and Joy came to play

So I was ready for anything that came

and if I happened to stumble, I’d just call out your name

Today I feel like I can walk the sky

Today I don’t wanna die

Today I feel like all pain is gone

Today I am not alone

Today I will sing your praise

Today is another blessed day

Cause I awoke again to your morning glory

And you were there to hear my story

Beautiful and one I am amazed your reviews will come in showers of praise and adoration to the Lord. A great reminder how Great is our God!

"Cause I awoke again to Your morning glory
And You were there to hear my story"
Isn't it wonderful how He IS always there? Even on the days when we can't "feel" Him near, He is faithful.
As you have written about here, we are changeable, one day on top of the world, the next day filled with doubts. Yet our God never changes.

The Eternal Soldier by Peter Jessop

In the waning days of World War II, a man lies injured in a London hospital, shrouded in mystery and confusion. He is an American serviceman, stripped of his identity and memories, save for the name John, and plagued by vivid visions of battles that
