What’s in a perspective?
What you see
From where you’re seeing.
Usually just one half
Of a whole picture;
Incorrect and incomplete,
Often misjudged
As true of false,
Good or bad,
Useful or useless.
What’s your connection
To their reality?
Everything and nothing,
Subtracting, adding
Or changing;
Misjudging,
Assuming,
Getting stuck.
But here’s the magic:
Don’t like what you see?
Don’t need new eyes;
Change places or times;
Nothing you see
Will ever be the same.
Like the Zen master said,
When ordering a hot dog,
I’ll take one,
With everything.
