The Backwards Life

A few lessons learned,

Living life backwards,

To keep from staying there,

Better late than never.

Remembering what we knew,

Before

Learning what is new.

Stepping back one step,

Before

Going forward two.

Wanting what we have,

Before wanting more,

Of what we don’t have.

Feet om ground,

Before

Flying to the sky,

Arms around failure,

Before

Hands on success.

Seeing the right here,

Before

Noticing the wrong there,

Giving before getting,

Crying before laughing.

Living before dying.

Enjoying time now,

Before,

The future becomes the past,

When backwards is no longer forward.
