No More Pain
By
Bill Cottringer
Waterfalls are God’s tears
Echoing our silent fears,
‘Bout the pain we cause;
One person to a few,
Many groups to more,
As in the freedom war,
Sometimes with regret,
Guilt and sorrow too;
Sometimes long ago,
Without the thought
We know we bought;
It’s wisely been said,
“What goes around,
Does comes around;”
And when it does
We get the point,
We feel the pain,
Heart cut in half;
Mind goes insane,
Now for every pain
Caused without a care,
Done in pride & vain,
We owe what’s fair,
To look everywhere,
Find people we owe,
From long ago,
Giving freely,
Three times the love,
With no more pain.
Time for the refrain.
