AM I A WRITER?

Am I a writer?
Just a vehicle for ideas
to pass through?
To get others to think
about what’s important?
To connect by explaining
the unexplainable?


Am I a writer?
Tiptoeing to the edge of reality,
to see and bring back truths;
So I can experience these things
in my own life,
and then share the secrets?

Am I a writer?
Needing approval from authors,
not readers?
Or am I just learning
what I think I already know?

Am I just becoming a writer?
I hope I don’t stop trying,
once I am a writer.
