Peculiar

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

Peculiar...
How my heart sings at
the sight of you.

Odd....
How my soul dances
when you speak.

Most precious....
Are the butterflies
I feel around you.

Starlit...
Are the pastures wich
we roam.

An oddity is....
That my knees grow weak
when ever your near.

How sweet....
The sensation that makes
me tremble.

How well I know this state of being, Elisabeth; I can completely relate. Well done and well-shared. Love and peace to you,

Elisabeth, nothing peculiar about these emotions and physical reactions to the one you love -- a very sincere rendering my friend -- may peace and love be with you -- Jon Michael

Aahh! I know these peculiarities too! Whenever my wife comes near.

Peace,

Elisabeth,

Very serene words, that provide many feelings, I wonder of the inspiration. Thank you for sharing. Warmth, Carin'
