2009 stands in the wings
As 2008 says good-bye
It will be remembered for many things
Some good, some bad and some life changing.
But time marches on, we cannot stop it
And wouldn't if we could
So join me my friend
Here at the end
of 2008
to say "Good-bye"
Then in the next breath
Whisper "Hello!"
to the New Year coming in
