My children and I thank you all very much for your love,concern and prayers in our time of loss. Dad knew you all because I used to read him the wonderful comments you left on my work and because I used to share your work with him. Your love and gracious condolences are making this time of loss much easier to bear for the children and I.
Dad will be buried at sea by the US Navy early next week. I know that he would wish each of you happiness, health and long life for your kindness to his child and his grandchildren.
