Gordon MacDonald discarded at night

when his poor blind wife recovered her sight.

She saw some things that caused his demise

when first she had opened her newly healed eyes.

Gordon had lied throughout married life,

for fear of loosing his gorgeous blind wife.

He’d lied he was rich and lied he was handsome,

convincing his spouse that they lived in a mansion.

He’d said his old Ford was a Rolls silver cloud,

his success in the city had made his mum proud.

But when Mrs MacDonald focused her vision

His deception exposed, empowered her decision.

She’d bound him and tied him when he was asleep,

wrapping him up in an old linen sheet.

He was thrown from a truck with a bounce and a thump

into his new home the Brent City dump.

There's a lesson in this it must be said,

If you lie to your wife you’re better off dead.
