I second that. Compassion never hurt anyone. It's not being compassionate that makes two negatives. Your piece made me think about that "Trouble The Water" HBO documentary on Katrina and its aftermath. One part inparticular had one refugee, A young black woman boarding a plane to go God knows where and she was complaining about how the flight attendant was giving her the fifth degree in her already disastrous situation. Ofcourse like all sistas she was finna break off a heel in O girl but she humbled herself down. But I think some compassion there wouldn't been out of order. In fact it might be just what the doctor order to keep us from having high blood pressure and stress from trying to TKO somebody over nothing at all. Nice Write!
