I thought I was all alone

walking along the hillside path

just me and natures realm

then I met myself.

Not that he came walking past

no it was all in my head,

yet me and myself

sat and had a chat,

that lasted for many hours.

Never realised how he had been so hurt

felt neglected after all those years,

how his friends had left him

at least thats how he felt

even though they were still around.

I told him I was sorry,

that I had neglected to help him through,

but he said

no you did what was right

you had to carry us this far.

Then he said

Perhaps its time

we let people know

who we are.
