I have been to places
no man has ever been
looked upon words
that have never been scrolled.
I have talked with people
that have said many things,
and all have been
the stuff of dreams.
As if I had a say
all those things I have gathered
placed them in books
so they cannot escape,
all my imaginations intact
each in their place.
I would worry if I
could not imagine,
set my foot in places
and in situations,
I would be at a loss
if it all was to disappear
what a gift we have
in imagination.
