Lost love always hurts, and the guy in this poem is the same.
Sun on the sand
catching my eyes
as the waves roll out,
out of sight,
what am I doing here,
wasting my time.
I look at the surf
follow the line
watch all the people
having fun
that should be me
but somethings wrong.
Lost all my life
she walked away
never said a word
thats why I am
here today
where we used to be
down by the sea.
Time to change
I tell myself
can't get out of neutral
theres too much pain
I want her back again
so the sun on the sand
thats washed by the sea
brings back the memory
of what used to be
and something aint right
she took all my life.
