I have a dog called Arthur

why I do not know

he is a she

and I am not sure

if I should let him know.

He loves eating snowflakes

fresh and falling

from the sky

he seems quite happy

with what he does

dont think I should as him why.

When it is not snowing

he chases after his tail

around and around he goes

sometimes it seems for hours

Not sure if he knows.

Then when I give him some dog food

he takes it out of the bowl

places it on the floor

then if I put it back

he does it once more.

I am sure he talks about me

because friends look at me strange

when I tell them about him

they shake their heads

in disbelief.

Perhaps I should not talk

about him

even though he is

lets say avant garde

he is a lovely fruitcake

and I follow

not far behind.
