I sat at high point
atop a mountain high,
stared out at the distance and beyond
beyond what I could see.
I felt small and unimportant
a grain of dust
yet I did not feel alone
I was inside full of peace.
High away from troubles
at a distance from the world below
almost resented
that soon I would leave
head home.
A bird soared overhead
calling out aloud
I waved back he tipped his wings
I smiled as if it were real
am I wanting to believe
or running away.
Am I where Alce went
and found a Wonderland escape,
or am I out there in another world
high amid the hills,
on a world that is so peaceful
it is all a dream,
for way down there the humans live
with lines drawn inbetween.
Thank you Mountain for sharing your time
better than medication
this being on high,
better than living
down there below,
yet you have helped me
to not let go.
Be always safe,
Karen
GOD BLESS YOU
Tony
