A closure is a kind of farewell.
Today is sufficient
with all its morbid traffic
of endless news
its personal upheavals
that bring us gloom.
So with a kind of wave
as if with a magic wand
we attempt a closure
push away the gloom
till maybe its gone.
The Sun will always rise another day
God said Earth is here
forever
it will stay,
so let us with these morbid things
keep our eyes fixed
on what is better
not a confidence trick
intent on distress
but a we know where we are going
that is best.
