Poem Artwork

Why do I feel like tomorrow will never come,

to bring forth the joy of just another day?

Why do I feel so alone,

When you say you will always be there?

Why do I feel so undesired and so unwanted,

when the whole world just looks at me,

 with an uncanny stare?

Why do I feel my dreams are so hopeless,

when all I ever dreamed for,

was your love in times of despair?

All I have ever asked for,

was a perfect love,

that could understand and share my pain.

To lift me up when I have fallen,

when all my tears were in vain.

Night after night,

to heaven I glare,

praying and praying,

for just once,

someone would care.

But who am I kidding?

I am not a fool.

Knowing that even in my darkest hours,

you were never there.

With that I’ve realized,

painful but true ,

nobody cares,

not even you.
