I do believe this was the most painful Thanksgiving, I’ve ever experienced. This was written in 2019 and Asa, my son, was homeless. He could not temporarily reside with me due to HUD regulations and I did not feel happy. However, I was then and am still... extremely Thankful for Our Creator's 'Joy' that fills me. Thus, through it all I have this comfort; …yet, There is God! …Pressing On!

There is deep pain felt here… yet, there is God! There are hypocritical darts here… yet, there is God! There is aching here… yet, there is God! Felt, is the emptiness…of vacancy yet, there is God! There is something… so beautiful here… something that hovers… covering the bare… There is the unrelenting …Presence of Jesus’ Love miraculously strengthening with Joy’s needed….shove And I am entirely thankful that… regardless of cruelty… Regardless of deliberate hurt... Mothers never stop caring for their children. Asa is in my prayers. God, be with Asa. Amen!

Asa as one thing that many homeless people don't. A loving mother. Let us hope that somehow he gets back on his feet and into shelter before the cold of winter reaches him.
