my search for you has taken me
to dark corners and alleys
into scary reccesses
of human degradation.
and through the deep soul searching
within my own being
i thought i was lost.
no hope and no faith.
but a spark of hope was there,
the faith had never left.
i was blinded by the lies
that man had spun for me.
and lost to what was right and true ,
i fell on bended knee
and lifting my tear streaked face,
i cried to the Heavens above
please guide me Lord,
save my soul, show me where you are.
thats when you answered me,
you are in my heart, holding me,
i need just listen to Thy word.
I found you Lord, tho never lost,
I will not let you go.
