In my book, "God With Us" I state, "I consider the purpose of my mortral existence as being twofold: (1) to glorify God and (2) for soul-completion." (p. 59). In the song below I describe with lyrics my twofold existence in everyday living this twofold purpose.
O why am I here? I am here to glorify my God through praise and worship and to acknowledge at all times that He is the Lord of my life and my salvation. O yes, that's why I'm here. O why am I here? I am here to do soul-completion work; for my soul yearns for completion, to be one with Him. I must work while it is still day; night will soon be here" I want to be ready. O why am I here? I am here to glorify my God and to do soul-completion work; That's why I am here. Anything else that I do is not significant. To God be the glory.
