Search for truth in being conscious.

LADDER I keep seeking a pure day affirmative in each stirring of the wind in the willows in each sun sparkle on the sea. But instead I get questioning notes all around my scale of melodies down the basement steps of yesterday up the bell tower of tomorrow. A pure affirmation perhaps exists only in the realm of angels who hold the keys to golden dreams and answers true . I follow the path of the flitting white butterfly circuitous and magical seeking the pure day to live freer than the thousands of delighted students finishing classes at the end of a semester freer than the burdened professors and tired blue-collar workers freer than the rich businessmen and their illimitable servants all purposeful but no longer spontaneous nor mindful of joy. I keep seeking a pure day a companion to my most daring emotions in the spring of promises but instead I get quizzical stares stony silence which melts to welcome me when I remember to smile. I go up turn and watch a bird in flight marvel at his song rising even in the threatening sky. What unbridled notes burst forth, or is it as mechanical as our melancholy moments in the trill of summer’s season? Up the ladder of consciousness I get a sense of being a part of some larger fleeting process perennial and international transformation of life on the planet. I keep seeking a pure day again and again I return to the unfettered flight of the dark butterfly the soaring bird the rising note in a microcosm of time affirming life on earth in the wind, in the breath that nurtures in the flower that inspires in the ocean of light in the fire of presence.
