Entity young, housed in a box, succumbed.
Time had no beginning, nor a true end,
She dreamed of a paradise yet to come.
Entity formed emotions, simply Zenned.
Joy in life, appreciation of less,
Happiness, respect, love and peace. Eons
Passed and box shrank small, Pandora, restless,
Mutated with dread, saw herself become
A curse. Sad goddess, condemned to false box
Of Time’s design, she struggled to escape,
But had to wait. Once Mankind was born, locks
Held no weight -- it became a scene of rape…
Humanity, as a race, fled and hid.
Pandora didn’t free herself, Man did.
