When the eyes of self
start peering
from the scenery
of beauty,
there is a need
to reconform,
especially when
the mind is bleary.
When the aches of self
start paining
in the greenery
of beauty,
there is a need
to reconfirm,
especially when
the soul is weary.
When the nays of self
start paring
from the plenary
of beauty,
there is a need
to recommit,
especially when
the mind is theory.

I enjoyed the rhyme scheme - it worked well and was not contrived.
This is my type of poetry. Essentially abstract but tied in firmly to the real world. Well done. Joyce James
