I’ve lost my heart,
It seems so dark,
There’s nothing worse
Than a fractured heart.
I’ve lost my heart.
I’ve lost my soul,
What once was whole,
There’s nothing worse
Than a ruptured soul.
I’ve lost my soul.
I’ve lost my self,
I’m less by half,
There’s nothing worse
Than an abjured self.
I’ve lost my self.
I’ve lost my mind,
I feel so blind,
There’s nothing worse
Than a creatured mind.
I’ve lost my mind.

Poignancy in your words--hope you find your smile (and Muse) again.
(((((HUGS))))) and love, Karla.
An intriguing and introspective write
We can always find what we have lost again !
