I climbed a young pine tree,
As a child, to find the fragile
Gems it held inside.
I was dive-bombed by irate
Robin parents, ah, such sweet
Dangers, when we are young!
I climbed the young pine tree,
Because I saw it held a nest,
With eggs and all!
I was driven to climb, finessed,
To observe, for scant seconds,
The blueist eggs in the world…
I’ll never forget.

Thanks,

Beautiful capture; ah, sweet memories! Such tenderness; such innocence; such loveliness. Well done!
