Time Is A Coward

In deep-dark nothingness of space, one earth
Took its mission’s place, awaiting ‘God’s’ cue.
In dark-deep space of nothingness, One ‘God’
Has ruled, as one god ruled, as one-god rules…
In deeper dark of nothingness, one quest
Spins alone, in turbid climes of cosmic
Patterns. In darker deep of nothingness,
One earth weeps forgiveness, feeling soul-sick.
In cosmic space, there is no way to flee
To find your Father, Mother or Lover,
Forsaken by enormity, or, Time.
In a way, it is the perfect cover…
I suspect Time’s voice would sound like a keen.
Time is a coward, hidden in our genes.

Sonnets are your forte. This is excellent, thought provoking, emotive poetry at its best. Well done!
