We used to be able
To walk on rubble,
Now, it trips us up.
We used to be able
To walk on the moon,
‘Till, it gave us up.
We used to be able
To talk to just one.
How, now? Divvied up.
(Maybe Humanity become
Worn out husks of age
Because that’s God,
Gathering information.)
We might be able
To walk on water.
How? It trips me up.
We might be able
To walk on comets,
If we don’t give up.
We might be able
To talk to the One,
Now divvying us up.
(I don’t believe there’s
A final ending to cognizance,
Because, that’s God,
Again, gathering information.)

'Again, gathering information' Whoa! ;)
One does not have to go along with that, not to let others take meaning from you, is a simple mental motion though it can be a blow to ones notion of idealism how the wrong can be in a majority.
