Step back; don’t move!
A spring butterfly is hovering
Near you! Its fragile movements
Go to prove, angels are hard-headed!

Listen to music, words, step back,
And, spend moments as a spring
Dragonfly! Wearied yourself. Now
Always searching. Watch out!

I enjoy poems that are short ... sweet ... and mostly to the point.
Youys inspires us to see the world as a butterfly or dragonfly -- at least in my mind. I'm fascinated by both and enjoy taking photos of them ... and to think at one time -- when I called them Darning Needles I was scared to death of them. Thanks for the beautiful nature scene. Susan Williams

Erin,

I've heard that a butterfly's wingflap can affect air masses and storms on the other side of the world. Chaos theory? Nothing to fear from a butterfly's wings - if he's near you, it's gonna miss you. It's the others on the other side of the world that have to worry! Well penned.
