Don’t understand.

Are ed Hardys and commercials worth more
Than family? I know, I’m practically old, two months
Before fifty, been feeling it, too. But. That’s ok, that’s cool,
I understand.

I’ll always remember the acute color of sky-blue eggs, or,
The unique flower of a colors petals, or, the space between
Gnats flying in balmy air, with bees,
Understanding is killing me.
