A crystal skull
Holds as much
As it holds.

I think a
Storm window
Protects
Against elements,
As it holds

Fragileness.
I think thinking
Of storm windows
Holds a power.

I think I
Should hold
A crystal skull
In my hands,
To maintain my world…

I like the images of crystal skulls and storm doors - designed to keep the hardness out. Conversely, what if it has already got inside? Hmmm. Or gets ripped off (like my storm door did - twice this summer - from the fury of the storm)? Thought provoking, Erin, and brilliantly penned.
