Is there a Moth
On my head? Inside,
From Outside, I’m saying. Pressured?

The Flight of
Green Wing Laces !
Insects too beautiful to
Inside understand!

Brrrippp! Without sound
They flounder into my kitchen,
The back screen door is cat-friendly,
Meaning loose to allow jumping in and out.

Wait, its spring, again! I love Lace
Green-wings, no, It’s
Lace-wing-green, unpeppering
My stove light’s lightning!

Green Lace Wings
Congregate on my back patio
Screen, and in my house,
Wholly welcomed, by me, tonight!

They are gorgeous,
An invasion of ones!
Like a vestige moth, greened on my head…

My Huchanna smacks 'em down with a lightning paw 'n' mammocks them on the tiles and then eats the souffle...clever violent girl...and then throws up in the morning...not so clever...it must be the time of year, we have lots of those wings here in Singapore at this time, too.

In the house they come, then to bed you go and fluttering all around you they do...I always try to get them out, if I see them, before getting to bed...e

It is always lovely to see the first few flying insects around, mind you the mosquitos and black flies I could do without.
