I saw someone’s suffering,
the other day. I
held it in my mind,
felt it’s constant
agony, read its story,
and I cried, as I
collapsed
from the weight
of Life.

She came,
and raised the burden
from my heart,
giving me her strength
to see further. To see
behind. She gently
opened my eyes
with her faith
in herself.

I shared someone’s suffering
today. I am
a better person
from its gift.
