Currentness of Time

I hear the mutterings and the protests,
against the acts of violence,
to achieve
the facts of peace,
and I listen to ghostly voices,
from our earthly past, as
the wailings from death-filled cattle cars,
echo in my mind,
but unheard, in their currentness of Time.
I see the screamings and the emotions,
and the use of acts of violence,
to achieve
the facts of peace,
and I view visions of brutal rice-fields,
from our worldly past, as
the ka-chunk of bullets through bodies
pass before my eyes,
but unseen, in their currentness of Time.
I feel the bravery and the convictions,
and the painful acts of violence,
needed to achieve
the fact of peace,
and I feel humanity’s vaunted yearnings,
throughout our past, as
the liberation from terror and oppression,
sings into my heart,
seen by all, in our currentness of Time.

and good good
Excellent write with emotion. These protestors are really becomming sickening. There is no draft, so why do they worry. Our military is now all volunteer. i am anti war but our people are there, they should be home praying for our people. Stupid SOB's.
Sorry for my vent.
