Time, my imprisoned warden, stands behind
My futured fame, presenting avenues
Of intricate greed. So, I traveled lands
Of mind's delirium, of lost time's dues.

Time. Fettered in chains, proceeded to slow
My torturous train of thoughts. Answers
Are often an unabsolute, their nowhere
Nature further rebukes our hopes to grow.

For, I have found no place that's safe to free
The deathless wish to formally plead kinds
Case; as breathlessness closes in on me,
I deem Time's jury to be... blind. Behind

My future, past finds me, so bound in chain
I'll never free, forever seen, Time's pain.

Found out today my computer's hard drive has failed. Bad news. Much is lost forever, including pictures and poems, friends files and much of myself. I can keep the hard drive and maybe later have it expensively recovered or let them send it in according to the warranty to get it replaced free. I'm leaning towards saving it and paying the $ for the new drive. I hope to have 'Putey home sometime tomorrow or the next day. On a happier note, I've spent the last four days researching poetry, reading anthologies of poetry and critic reviews (most interesting, this) and writing in a frenzy of boundlessness.
