More Than A Moment
Not every arrival is meant to remain,
Some just appear, when you’re carrying strain,
No warning, no buildup, no reason as why,
They show up mid sentence, and shift how you try.
A glance in a hallway, a throwaway phrase,
Yet somehow it alters, the shape of your days,
Too timed to be random, too brief to explain,
They touch what’s been buried, then vanish again.
You don’t see them coming, and can’t make them stay,
But the path they disturb, doesn’t move the same way,
They pass like refractions, like something half seen,
But what they ignite, stays far past the scene.
They don’t know your story, they’re just passing through,
But still, they've uncovered a new version of you.
