Fractured Glow
Let it break, you won’t be lost,
You’ve paid the weight, you’ve felt the cost,
Now something brighter waits ahead,
Not less because of tears you’ve shed.
He spoke in riddles, veiled and brief,
Then vanished like a falling leaf.
You stayed too long in fractured glow,
Mistook the ache for something whole.
You tuned your truth to dissonance,
Mistook the cringe for consequence,
Not all that hurts is punishment,
Some fires burn to clear intent.
You had to fall to rise this high,
You had to ache to ask your why,
To face the storm, to feel the burn,
And then decide: it’s time to turn.
The love that left, the pain you kept,
The nights you broke, the times you wept,
Each moment carved a deeper space,
To hold the light you now embrace.
