I went down to the local bar
looking for action you know who you are
in walks a siren a femme fatale
did something awful to my morale
maneater my maneater
she looked around like she knew the score
she knew what a Friday night was for
came up to me looked me down and up
poured all the wine into a single cup
with one glance I didn't have a chance
oh maneater
as we walked out the door
the patrons were grinning even the janitor
the barkeeper gave me a last salute
the silence was deafening and absolute
the bouncer looked over said
"tomorrow morn you'll wish you were dead"
man man maneater
manman manman maneater
rob from Paul, to pay Peter
man man man man man eater
I guess you know what she did to me
ate my heart and the rest you see
unlocked the lock and she took the key
left me nothing that I want to be
dig it she's a maneater
now I go back there every night
can eat can't sleep I look such a sight
but I guess she aint coming back this way
still I'm in there every single day
money's gone and my credit too
I don't know what else I can do
man oh man man
eater
